BioAzul S.L. (BIOAZUL)
Bioazul S.L is an engineering SME focused on process engineering, wastewater treatment, water reuse concepts, as well as energy efficiency. BIOAZUL has a wide experience in providing integrated solutions to clients, designing, constructing and commissioning tailor-made complete treatment and water production systems for urban and industrial applications, designing control modules and control philosophy. It also provides industrial clients with technical assistance for the optimization, validation and management of their production plants and control systems, as well as for the implementation of energy saving solutions.
Under FP7, BIOAZUL has been responsible for the design, installation and set-up, operation and monitorisation of a household wastewater treatment system composed by an SBR and an MBR for the Amanora Park Town in Pune city within the NaWaTech project.
In the frame of PAVITR, BIOAZUL is involved in the Wastewater Treatment Research Cluster (WWT- RC), being in charge of designing, installing and setting-up, operating and monitoring a wastewater treatment system in Aligarh city, a RichWater®-SBR for fertigation purposes, and also of upgrading an existing SBR system in Dhanbad city for irrigation purposes.
