AIMEN Technological Centre (AIMEN) 

AIMEN is a Non Profit private association constituted by 110 companies, which supplies technological support to more than 400 companies dedicated to industrial or commercial activity related to metallurgy, automotive sector, civil construction, environment, mechanics, shipbuilding, chemicals, foundry, machinery, ceramics, food, cement, wood and its derivates, plastics, engineering, assembly and others.

AIMEN is a highly professionalized organisation with more than 200 employees specialised in the field of Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Processes, Laser Technologies and Environmental Technologies. Its mission is to improve competitiveness and technology know-how of Manufacturing Industry through the following activities. Regarding environmental technologies, AIMEN expertise is focused on anaerobic digestion, adsorption techniques to remove pollutants or recover nutrients or valuable resources, advanced oxidation processes to eliminate micropollutants in wastewater and constructed wetlands for urban and industrial wastewater treatment.

Under FP7, AIMEN coordinated for Europe the SWINGS project.

In the frame of PAVITR, AIMEN is involved in High-resolution Management Research Cluster (HRM-RC) and Design, Adaptation and Installation of Anaerobic and Wastewater Treatment Technologies.
