International workshops foreseen within the PAVITR project are a very good and enriching tool to strength the India-EU cooperation. The workshops are designed to be the needed platform to bring together relevant stakeholders, including industry partners, local authorities, water users, research centres and communities, and enhance the project results uptake.
Two workshops have been organized already, one in India on the 28th and 29th of November 2019, and another one organized online in December 2020. On both occasions, the main objective was to present the pilots and engage stakeholders.
The third PAVITR international workshop is postponed to 2022 and will take place at at Aarhus University in Denmark. The target audience will be young scientists and practitioners, backed by senior researchers. In addition, high-level decision-makers will be invited in order to facilitate the knowledge transfer on an institutional level. Promotion of the workshop will start soon.
