We are pleased to share with you that the India-EU Water Partnership (IEWP), together with  the German Development Cooperation, is currently supporting the National Mission for Clean Ganga/Ministry of Jal Shakti in the development of a National Policy on Treated Wastewater Reuse (TWWR).

 

As TWWR is becoming increasingly important for India to overcome its challenges relating to water scarcity, the early-stage involvement of businesses – including EU technology businesses – is imperative.  

We therefore invite you and your business network to the following upcoming events by the IEWP which might be of interest and relevance in this regard:

• Friday, 28^th of August (10:00 am- 11:30 am CET): Info session on project funding and technical support for water companies of EU / EFTA countries by the DeveloPPP.de Programme.   • The session is particularly relevant for businesses who already have international project references, who are interested in the Indian market and fulfil certain criteria as outlined here.

• Monday, August 31^st, 2020 (11:30 am – 01:00 pm CET): Release session of a Project Reference Paper for EU businesses on the Treated Wastewater Reuse Sector in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India,

• Monday, 7^th of September (11:30 am – 01:00 pm CET): Technical business workshop for a limited number of EU water reuse businesses: The objective is to share and discuss information pertaining to an entire project life cycle in the TWWR sector in India with business support organisations, experts and technology companies from Europe.
